We take in the life-giving oxygen provided by the flora of our planet, and give back our carbon dioxide in the mystical ebb-and-flow dance that is so ingrained into the very core of our being that it is an effortless, involuntary act occurring in the shadows of conscious thought that most take for granted. It's through this exchange that we not only maintain a personal tether to this plane of existence, but also play a pivotal role in supporting the entire web of life that comprises our planet. By adjusting this tether through meticulously-intentioned rituals, sacred plants have acted as both access points and guides to heightened states of consciousness throughout human history. Shaman and spiritual leaders from indigenous tribes all over the globe have long described this process as akin to climbing a smoke ladder into heaven.
The key to unlocking the infinite and limitless bounds of the mind is in the focused control of breath. This ancient knowledge of the essence of life is preserved in the cleansing ritualistic dances that have survived the industrialization of the soul that permeates modern civilization. The status quo has reached its boiling point, and the horrific consequences of centuries of disregard and exploitation of our planet are coming to fruition. It’s up to us to make a focused change and redirect the course of our species and of our planet.
Our modern psytrance ceremony has its roots in the traditional trancedance rituals developed independently by indigenous peoples across the globe. Our oldest traditions as a species involve using our technology of the time to manipulate sound waves, intentionally altering vibrational responses in a pattern of frequencies to literally restructure the way we perceive the world around us. Through the study of cymatics we can see resonance made visible by observing the modal vibrational phenomena that occurs at specific vibrations. Sand laid out on a metal plate connected to an oscillator will organize itself into increasingly complex geometric shapes corresponding to specific frequencies. This physical manifestation of vibrational energy has been honed over eons to create rituals capable of acting as transformative catalysts through meditative participation. Adjusting the tether.
